Fat Boys BBQ
Kissimmee, Florida
While the large pork sandwich was more than filling, the fries were tasty, and the price was right, it just didn't excite us the way others have.
Hungry Harry's
Land O' Lakes, Florida
A long-time local favorite, with good portions, good sauce, and great beans, but do yourself a favor, and DON'T ask for french fries!
Interstate BBQ
Memphis, Tennessee
It don't get any better than this! The BBQ pro's rank them #2 in the country, but they're our #1 all-time favorite. The meat is juicy, tender, and sweet, but the secret is in their sauce!
Louis's BBQ Shack
Mims, Florida
Good chopped pork, great side dishes...the only room for improvement here would be the sauces. Only order the large sandwich if you're REALLY hungry!
Sim's BBQ
Little Rock, Arkansas
Located in the hood, but all are welcome, and the sign on the door says it all! Huge portions, and on request, the absolute hottest sauce known to man!
Smokey Pig BBQ
Bowling Green, Kentucky
Really good BBQ, good sides, great desserts, and about a mile from the Corvette Museum. Just ask any of the local's how to get there. We once rated it a five, until we tried a few of the others!
Wild Oak Smokehouse
Leesburg, Florida
Very similar to Hungry Harry's, except the pork was chopped coarse, and they DID have fries. The hot BBQ sauce is done to perfection!
Sorry, Wild Oak is no longer in business!

Kansas City has ribs, in Texas it's brisket, the Carolinas are famous for their vinegar-based sauce, and the South has yet another version. It's ALL barbeque, and it's much more than just cookin' on the grille!

BBQ'ing is a combination of the right wood for the fire, the proper cut of meat that's cooked for just the right amount of time, and the perfect blend of spices that becomes the sauce.

Do all that right, and you've created some great-tasting barbeque!

And the Old Guys are fond of good, southern-style 'que. We've been known to travel more than a hundred miles out of our way for a BBQ sandwich at lunchtime!

We've sampled both good and bad. If you know of a really good barbeque joint, be sure to let us know.
