The 2003 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour...Nashville to Dallas...brought us together.

One trip, and we were hooked! We found that we all shared the same passions...driving our old cars to anywhere we haven't been before (especially on a winding two-laner), eatin' good barbeque, and of course, hoisting an occasional cold one! Since then, we've piled up some serious mileage together!

We live in Florida, and we're all at least a couple hundred miles apart, but we find time to get together regularly. Maybe a local car show or cruise in, or maybe, as we once did, a 3500+ mile trip for a one-day show in Ontario, Canada!

While it's more about the journey than the destination, we've met some great folks along the way, and they made the destination that much more enjoyable. We've found that once we drive out of Florida, other drivers wave at us using ALL their fingers!

None of us are independently wealthy, nor do we have any sponsors. We spend nearly as much time planning our route and selecting our accomodations as we spend on the actual trip. We've earned thousands and thousands of hotel reward points!

We've all done our share of parking lot repairs, but we've always managed to arrive home in the same car we left in!

We realize that everyone can't travel in their old cars like we do, so through the Old Guys Blog, where you can add your thoughts, and the Photo Albums, we're sharing our adventures with you. And if you should happen to see us on the highway somewhere, give us a wave...with ALL five fingers, of course!
